I do not know if it was ever worn, as I just bought the dress and did not get its history. See pictures for more detail. This amazing gown has crystals all down the front and back of the bodice, with white floral applique' covering the bodice spreading down onto the full, ballgown tulle skirt that also spreads randomly throughout the skirt.
